All documents are stored within a PDF or if needed
(advisable) the newer PDF/A (which has been adopted
as an ISO standard) file formats. The PDF best approach
and technologies allow both image & indeed retrieval
data to be stored effectively as one entity ensuring
that going forward document obsolescence will be
avoided. This also means that documents can be utilized
outside of the EDMS system (if certain security
criteria are met).
Additional methodology is then brought to bear meaning
that permissions can change automatically based
on time & or other influences. Therefore this
methodology also means documents are effectively
self certifying. PDF documents are also fully page
size, color & source agnostic drawings, blueprints
& even very small tickets can be stored within
in the same documents. Safer Create technology also
ensures the absolute optimum file size whilst still
maintaining best image quality.
Scanning & other conversion services can be
fully, partially or even provided as an in house
fully facilitated option. Data entry for indexing
& retrieval can also be carried out by our highly
qualified & experienced team.
